At about 11pm she started screaming loud to the extent, I started panicking. Between 12 to 1am,I took her to emergency at St George’s hospital were she was treated and we were sent home but I refused to go buy they insisted that we should go home to continue the treatment for her.
It was a huge battle at a time, she started having all manner of sickness, confusion, abnormal behaviour and wanted to run away from hospital. It took up 5 persons to calm her down. At that time they now agreed to offer us bed.
I was confused, I cried, I prayed. I then called my pastor who prayed for me, and reassured me that she will be alright Pastor and pastor Mrs Akimbi, and all the ministers were praying for us too.
Within 24 hours in hospital, she developed so many illness , high temperature, seizure every now and then, before you know it, she went into Coma for up to 4 weeks. After running all the test, they said that she had infection of the blood that affected the brain and store fluid in her brain.
People of God it was too much to explain. Even when she wake-up, she couldn’t talk or hear properly for some time. But I thank God. What doctors said for her to wake up, might be 2 to 6 months then recovering might take up to 1 to 2 years. But you know, God’s way is different from medical science, she wake up 2 months and 3 weeks, and we were discharge within 3 months. Now she is doing wonderfully well.
I just want to thank God, pastor and pastor Mrs Tutu for always making themselves available to pray for me and my daughter Stephanie. I also appreciate pastor Charles, evangelical Mama and of course all the ministers for taking my burden upon themselves to pray for us.
