Mens' Group
The RCCG – THORP Men’s Group provides fellowship to male members of the church family with a range of events and activities throughout the year. By God’s grace, they look after the psychological and spiritual well being of our men to ensure that our homes are upheld on the shoulders of mighty men who carry the fear of God in their hearts. The Men’s group meets on the 2nd Sunday of each month.
Womens' Group
Women’s Group meets monthly to share, pray, and worship together. It is a place to accompany and support one another through the seasons of life. During the summer, they change the format to include activities such as walking, arts & crafts, poetry nights and many more.
Youth Group
RCCG – THORP Youth Group organizes events and activities aimed at
strengthening Christian friendship amongst youths at the church and to attract and
introduce non-Christian youths to faith through outreach events.

Hospitality Team
The Ushering and Hospitality team is made up of officers of the church who meet, greet and escort members and visitors of the church to their positions during services. They also introduce visitors and ensure that the place of worship is conducive for member and visitors alike. The RCCG THORP Ushering team is grateful to God in heaven for the gift of loving, caring and cheerful individuals who make the time spent in the Sanctuary a comfortable and pleasant experience.
Thorp Voices
Thorp Voices is made up of the main church choir and instrumentalists. They are a lively group – a mixture of individuals brought together by the love of music and a desire to use their God-given talents and gifts He has placed in each of them to tell the world about His infinite love.
Multimedia Group
The Multimedia Group mission is “Enhancing Your Worship Experience”. They use media technologies to help individuals to develop a more intimate relationship with God through various forms and tempos of worship. A committed group of technocrats help maintain the church equipment and are responsible for managing the content of this website.
The Treasury Department
The Treasury department is responsible for accounting for and processing all donations given to the church by all attendees, following the appropriate processes.
Welfare Department
Our Welfare Department aims to provide practical support for members faced with difficulties and/or desperate situations. Through the help of God and support of fellow members of the church family, we are able to assist one another and bear each others’ burdens even as Christ has commanded us.
Prayer Group
The Prayer Group at RCCG – THORP devotes it’s time to prayer with following
main prayer points:
